Aerotecnic is an aeronautical manufacturer specialising in structural components, as a result of the integration of the value chain and technological processes to offer outstanding services in metal fabrication, composite manufacturing and assemblies together with assembly operations and aerostructure assembly. With the aim of becoming a national aeronautical supplier of reference with a consolidated international presence and oriented towards sustainable industrialisation, personal specialisation and competitive innovation. Its activities cover the entire aerostructures circuit, from the management of raw materials, through the manufacture of complete machined parts and quality assurance, to finishing and assembly tasks. They provide final products to their customers, ready to be assembled on air vehicles. Aerotecnic’s presence on the international stage goes beyond collaborations or R&D projects; our aim is to become a TIER 1 supplier at European and global level, working very closely with OEMs such as Airbus Defence & Space, Bombardier, Embraer or SAAB. AEROTECNIC features an in-house R+D+i team to support and promote technological developments through R+D or investment projects, as a means of improving our competitiveness and generate synergies through new processes or innovative products. It is the focal department for new technologies within AEROTECNIC. Trust in this department is one of our keys to develop new methods and processes in all aspects, both manufacturing and organisational. AEROTECNIC, as a manufacturer of aerostructures by high-precision CNC machining, participates in the project with the role of developing the manufacturing strategies of the multi-material part of the DED-LB application case, defining and implementing the post-processing methods in order to tackle the level of thermal residual stresses and geometrical distortions of the near-to-shape part produced. As part of the requirements, it will contribute to achieving the quality standards of the aeronautical industry, especially on such a critical aerodynamic surface as the leading edge of a hypersonic aircraft.
